Learning Technology and E-Learning Specialist – Remote USA Remote ID: 9578 Job Description Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Retirement Division as a Learning Technology and E-Learning Specialist. About the role In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences that help employees build skills and achieve business goals. You’ll partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create impactful learning solutions while optimizing a seamless learner experience. Success in this position requires a blend of instructional design expertise, learning technology knowledge, project management skills, and a passion for creating inclusive, results-driven learning experiences. What you will do Learning Design & Technology Partner with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop effective learning solutions. Design and develop engaging learning content, including e-learning courses, videos, job aids, knowledge checks, and blended learning experiences. Apply instructional design principles and adult learning practices to create accessible, learner-centered content. Manage and optimize LMS functionality to support scalable, user-friendly learning experiences. Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve content based on learner feedback and business outcomes. Curriculum Development Review, design, and enhance training programs and curricula to support employee development and organizational goals. Recommend learning strategies and solutions that improve knowledge retention and performance. Project Management & Collaboration Manage multiple learning projects from planning through implementation. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely delivery of high-quality learning solutions. Share learning best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Check out our Symetra Benefits Overview Compensation Salary Range: $79,900 - $133,200 plus eligibility for annual bonus program Who You Are 4+ years of relevant experience in learning and development, instructional design, training, or a related field required. Hands-on experience designing and developing learning solutions, instructional materials, or training programs required.
