We are looking for a LECTURER - ROBOTICS Join our academic team and inspire the next generation of robotics and automation professionals. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and hands-on practical sessions in Robotics and related areas. Teach and support modules including: Introduction to Robotics Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems Arduino and Raspberry Pi Sensors and Actuators Control Systems Artificial Intelligence for Robotics Robotics Programming using Python and C/C++ Automation and related technologies Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory exercises, assessments and other learning resources.
Design and deliver practical, project-based learning activities using real-world robotics applications. Supervise student projects and provide academic and technical guidance. Support students in developing their technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Contribute to curriculum development, programme improvement, assessments and other academic activities. Stay current with emerging developments in robotics, automation, AI, embedded systems and related technologies.
Collaborate with colleagues on academic and industry-related initiatives. Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of robotics systems, automation, embedded systems and programming. Practical experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, actuators and microcontrollers.
Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++. Knowledge of control systems and AI applications in robotics will be an advantage. Previous teaching, training, research or industry experience in robotics or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage students through hands-on and project-based learning.
