Legal Cashier Leeds | Full-Time | Office-Based | Permanent | Salary DOE We are working with a well-established law firm based in Leeds who are looking to appoint an experienced Legal Cashier to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Cashier who enjoys having responsibility and autonomy, as you will take ownership of the firm’s day-to-day accounts function as the sole Legal Cashier within the business.
The firm has a friendly team of around 20 people, offering a supportive and personable working environment. The Role You will be responsible for the smooth running of the firm’s legal accounts function, including: Managing the day-to-day legal cashiering and accounts processes Processing client and office account transactions Posting receipts, payments and transfers Completing bank reconciliations Processing and reconciling client account balances Handling invoices, payments and office account transactions Assisting with month-end processes and reporting Ensuring compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules Dealing with queries from fee earners, clients and third parties Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring accounts procedures are followed correctly About You The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm and will be comfortable managing the accounts function independently.
You will have a good understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules , strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload effectively. As this is a standalone role, you will need to be confident working autonomously, while still being a team player and comfortable liaising with colleagues across the firm. What’s on Offer?
