SPAJ308 Adult and Youth Protection Service (SPAJ) The SPAJ ensures the protection of children and youth, the prevention and promotion of youth activities and support for parenting, the care of adults in social difficulties as well as the monitoring and development of the reception, support and protection system for children and youth. Your missions By joining our team, you play a key role by providing valuable legal support to the management and all entities of the service.

You ensure the application of the legal framework, ensuring that the service's activities are in full compliance with the applicable legal provisions. You also develop a legal support policy to assist colleagues in carrying out their specific tasks. You draft legal opinions, reports, draft decisions and review laws, regulations, directives, etc. Finally, you define procedures related to the implementation of various international conventions, such as the Federal Act on International Child Abduction and the Hague Conventions on the Protection of Children and Adults (LF-EEA).

Your profile With a master’s degree in law or an equivalent qualification, you have at least 8 years of professional experience with a specialisation or significant experience in family law, personal law or administrative law. Your professional experience in a similar field and your excellent knowledge of the Neuchâtel adult and child protection system are undeniable advantages for this role. Organised, comfortable in interpersonal relations, you possess a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
