Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Los Angeles, CA Overview: Our community-based healthcare program in Los Angeles is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide medication management and nursing support to adults in a transitional housing environment. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, community-focused setting. Position Offers: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Competitive pay: $32–34 per hour (DOE) Collaborative work with clients, healthcare providers, and community partners Supportive, community-focused work environment Opportunity for growth Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and ensure accurate medication documentation Coordinate and support daily medication distribution Maintain timely and accurate medical records and charting Provide treatments as ordered by healthcare providers Respond to minor medical emergencies and address health concerns within the LVN scope of practice Monitor clients and identify concerns requiring additional medical attention Communicate and coordinate with healthcare providers, outside agencies, and care team members Provide professional, compassionate, and respectful client-centered care Qualifications: Active, current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in California Experience with medication administration and medical documentation Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills Experience in interim housing, behavioral health, mental health, substance-use treatment, or another community-based setting preferred Why Join Us: Join a community-based healthcare program where your nursing skills directly support adults in transitional housing, making a meaningful impact in a supportive, client-centered setting.
