Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator looking to make a real impact on young minds? We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Life Skills Teacher with shared Personal Development Lead responsibilities to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our children and young people. What you'll be doing: Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support academic and personal growth. Create a positive learning environment and monitor student progress with constructive feedback.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure success. Lead initiatives to improve achievement and personal development across Arc School Ansley. Design and deliver CPD programs to inspire and develop staff and parents/carers. Report on agreed priorities to the Senior Leadership Team using data-driven insights. Drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning through staff development and training.

Implement evidence-based strategies aligned with School Development Plans. Support National Professional Qualifications in partnership with senior leaders. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A qualification in SEND education is desirable. Previous experience of Personal Development Lead responsibilities Experience of working with children and young people with SEND and ASC. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods. An excellent knowledge of your specialist curriculum area and how it may be effectively taught. Opened in 2014, Arc School Ansley is an independent specialist day school in Ansley, a lovely small village, for children and young people aged between 11 and 17. Our experienced team is dedicated to providing outstanding education to children and young people a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition, who may have many associated needs such as; social, emotional and mental health needs, communication needs and cognition and learning needs.

Arc School Ansley is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
