The Links for Life Assistant will provide administrative, coordination and technical support across the Links for Life programme, working closely with colleagues, residents, partners and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations. The role will support the delivery of programme priorities through community engagement, public health training, digital platform administration and monitoring, investment programme coordination, and awareness-raising activities, helping to ensure services and support are delivered effectively and contribute to improved outcomes for Sunderland residents.

Responsibilities of the role include: Promoting Links for Life Sunderland with residents, partners and stakeholders through community events, engagement activities and networks. Supporting the management and monitoring of the Links for Life digital platform. Assisting with engagement activities, investment programmes and support for Sunderland's voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. Coordinating a programme of public health training events, workshops and engagement sessions, including promotion, bookings, venue arrangements, participant communications and record keeping.

Producing accurate reports, action logs, meeting records and other programme documentation. Providing administrative and organisational support to ensure the effective delivery of programme activities. We are looking for individuals with experience of providing administrative support, coordinating activities and working to deadlines and targets. A flexible, proactive approach and a commitment to improving outcomes for local communities are essential. You must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post, as attendance at meetings, events and community activities across Sunderland, and occassionally the wider region, will be required.
