An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band5CommunityNurse to join the Formartine Community Nursing Team. Based at Oldmeldrum, the successful candidate will work flexibly across the Formartine locality in line with service needs, delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to manage a defined caseload and deliver skilled nursing care to patients within their own homes.

Working both independently and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in promoting independence, preventing unnecessary hospital admission and supporting patients to remain at home whenever possible. We are looking for a nurse with excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills who is able to prioritise workload effectively and work confidently as a lone practitioner.

You should be motivated, adaptable and committed to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care in a community setting. The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced team of Community Nurses, Senior Community Nurses and District Nurses, with opportunities to develop a broad range of clinical and professional skills. Experience of using clinical IT systems, including MORSE, EMIS and VISION, is desirable, together with accurate electronic record keeping and a commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation.

A comprehensive induction programme will be provided and tailored to individual learning and development needs. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.
