We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum opportunity at an Acute Care Hospital in York, Pennsylvania . This position offers exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties within a Level I Trauma Center , working alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams in a medically directed anesthesia model. Providers will care for patients of all ages across diverse and complex surgical settings.
No call or overtime is required. Job Responsibilities: β’ Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases. β’ Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations. β’ Deliver anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients. β’ Provide anesthesia services for trauma, cardiac, neuro, spine, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, orthopedic, GI, plastic, robotic, and other specialty procedures.
β’ Perform epidural anesthesia independently in accordance with facility protocols. β’ Utilize GETA, MAC, regional, spinal, and ultrasound-guided anesthesia techniques. β’ Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and ensure patient safety. β’ Document anesthesia care accurately using Epic EMR. β’ Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications: β Qualifications β’ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required. β’ Active Pennsylvania CRNA license or Compact License required. β’ Current ACLS and PALS certifications required. β’ Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience preferred. β’ Recent Epic EMR experience preferred. β’ Experience with diverse surgical specialties and advanced anesthesia techniques. β’ Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
Working Hours: β’ Full-time schedule only. β’ 4β5 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts. β’ Shift times vary: 6:15 AM β 4:45 PM, 6:30 AM β 4:30 PM, or 7:00 AM β 5:00 PM (MondayβFriday). β’ No on-call responsibilities. β’ No overtime required. β’ Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
