Med Ninjas is seeking two full-time Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Seattle, Washington . The assignment starts as soon as credentialing is completed and is expected to continue through 2027. The ideal physician can provide approximately 15 shifts per month , including some weekends and holidays, and is comfortable working varied day, evening, and overnight shifts based on the facility’s coverage needs.

Assignment Highlights Location: Seattle, Washington Setting: Hospital Emergency Department Start: ASAP upon credentialing Duration: Ongoing through 2027 Coverage needed: Full-time, ideally 15 shifts per month Patient volume: Approximately 8–14 patients per shift Cases: Primarily medical, low trauma, and medium-to-high acuity EMR: Epic Support staff: Registered nurses No call requirements Emergency/temporary privileges may be available Available Shift Times 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM 2:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday through Friday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday Possible future night coverage: 6:00 PM–3:00 AM or 10:00 PM–7:00 AM Physicians must be willing to work varied shifts according to the facility’s needs.

Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine ABEM or AOBEM certification/preparation required Emergency Medicine residency or fellowship training Active Washington medical license required IMLC candidates are not being considered at this time Minimum two years of Emergency Medicine experience Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Active DEA Clean professional, licensing, and malpractice background Availability for at least some of the requested coverage dates Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and selected holidays Important Family Medicine-boarded physicians cannot be considered for this assignment, even with extensive Emergency Medicine experience.
