We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician (MD/DO) for a locum opportunity at an acute care hospital in Springfield, Oregon . This inpatient role involves managing adult patients, performing GI procedures including ERCP , conducting rounds, evaluating new consults, and participating in scheduled day shifts with night call coverage. Providers will work in a collaborative environment with access to specialty consultants while independently managing inpatient gastroenterology services.

Job Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology care for adult patients. • Perform ERCP and other gastroenterology procedures as required. • Conduct daily patient rounds and evaluate new inpatient consults. • Participate in scheduled 10-hour day shifts and required night call. • Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR. • Collaborate with specialty consultants and outpatient GI colleagues when needed.

• Maintain high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards. Qualifications: • Board Certified in Gastroenterology. • Active Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain one. • Minimum of 2 years of Gastroenterology experience. • Current ACLS certification required. • Recent clinical activity in Gastroenterology within the last 24 months (case logs/documentation required). • Experience using Epic EMR required.

• ERCP proficiency is mandatory. • Must comply with required vaccination guidelines. Working Hours: • Scheduled 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM). • Night call coverage required. • Schedule to be determined based on facility needs. • Assignment duration: 26 weeks. • Start date: As soon as credentialing is completed.
