Description A full-time locum tenens opportunity is available for a Hematology/Oncology Physician in an outpatient setting in North Dakota. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no required call, making it ideal for providers seeking a structured workweek and a balanced clinical workload. You’ll be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary oncology team and see a mix of hematology and oncology cases.

About the facility This is a well-supported outpatient cancer care center with a collaborative team environment. The practice includes a full-time Medical/Hematology Oncologist, a Nurse Practitioner, and Radiation Oncologists on-site. The clinic manages both oncology and hematology patients with integrated infusion services and is transitioning from Cerner to Epic (Beacon) in October 2026. Travel expenses reimbursed, including: Mileage Rental car Hotel Flight Malpractice Covered Job Responsibilities Provide outpatient care for hematology and oncology patients Manage a balanced case mix (approximately 50% oncology / 50% hematology) See an average of 16 clinic patients per day Oversee or coordinate approximately 30 infusion patients daily Collaborate with on-site physicians, advanced practice providers, and radiation oncology team Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system Optional participation in weekend call coverage (if desired) Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology Active North Dakota medical license (or ability to obtain) Experience in outpatient oncology and infusion center workflows Strong collaborative and communication skills Working Hours Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts Full-time coverage needed No required call (optional weekend call available) Skills Proficiency in managing oncology and hematology cases Experience with infusion therapy coordination Familiarity with EMR systems such as Cerner and Epic Strong patient care and care coordination abilities Ability to work efficiently in a team-based outpatient setting
