Locum Neonatology Physician (MD/DO)_ Southfield, MI 48075 Offering Best Rates, Malpractice Insurance Full travel & Lodging

Hospital is seeking fellowship-trained Neonatologists for in-house night coverage in a Level III NICU on a locum basis. Job Responsibilities: • Provide in-house NICU night coverage • Manage neonatal admissions and daily patient care • Attend C-sections as required • Transfer neonates when necessary • Care for NICU patients (no well-baby nursery coverage) • Document care using Cerner/Ecare/PowerChart Qualifications: • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatology (Required) • Neonatology Fellowship Trained (Required) • Active Michigan medical license (Required – license in hand) • BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (Required) • Clean background and malpractice history (Required) • Recent experience in Level III or IV NICU (within last 3 months) • NPDB Self-Query within 30 days (Required) • Local provider preferred Working Hours: • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM • In-house call • 4–6 shifts per month • Includes weekends as scheduled Skills: • Neonatal critical care • NICU admissions and management • C-section attendance • Neonatal transfers • EMR proficiency (Cerner)
