This role offers a mix of procedural IR work, weekday coverage, and call opportunities while the organization recruits a permanent provider. 📍 Location Florence, South Carolina 🏥 Specialty Radiology – Interventional Radiology 👨‍⚕️ Position Physician – Locum Tenens 📅 Assignment Overview Start: January 2026 Duration: Ongoing until permanent hire Day Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Evening Call: Required Additional night and 24-hour call shifts available 🔬 Interventional Procedures Include Arteriograms CT-Fluoro Guided Biopsies Ablations Embolizations Kyphoplasty Gastrostomy Placement PleurX Catheter Placement Nephrostomy Tube Placement Port Placements Tunneled & Non-Tunneled Catheters Dialysis Graft Declots Biliary Drainage Procedures ⭐ Position Highlights ✨ Ongoing assignment with consistent cases ✨ Mix of day shifts + call coverage ✨ Work within an established radiology program ✨ No trauma center requirements ✨ Academic center experience not required 💰 Additional Compensation $500 flat rate for hospital modules and onboarding requirements Overtime applicable after 8 hours daily or 168 hours weekly 📋 Requirements ✔ Active South Carolina medical license required ✔ Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology ✔ Board Eligible / Board Certified (within 5 years) ✔ Ability to perform a wide range of IR procedures ⏳ Credentialing Standard credentialing process required prior to start.
