• Full-time locum tenens opportunity for a Physician Assistant supporting Pre-Anesthesia Testing and surgical services. • The provider will perform outpatient pre-operative assessments for patients preparing for upcoming surgeries. • Patients are not scheduled for surgery on the same day as the pre-operative visit. • Expected patient volume is approximately 8–9 patients per day.

• Clinical work is primarily focused on chart review, patient assessment, data collection, optimization, and coordination of care. • No procedure-based skills are required. • Epic EMR experience is required. • This is an urgent need with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and no call or weekend requirements. Job Responsibilities: • Conduct pre-operative evaluations for patients scheduled for upcoming surgeries.

• Assess and optimize patients before surgery. • Review H&Ps, medical records, and relevant patient information. • Perform chart review and collect necessary clinical data. • Utilize facility-approved optimization protocols and available resources. • Identify potential medical concerns and make appropriate referrals when necessary. • Coordinate patient care with the Surgery and Anesthesia teams.

• Evaluate patients undergoing procedures involving Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic. • Support the pre-anesthesia testing process in an outpatient office-type setting. Qualifications: • Physician Assistant with appropriate APP experience in pre-operative or pre-anesthesia settings. • Active New York State PA license required and must be in hand.

• Board Certified required. • Active BLS certification required. • AHA or RQI certification required. • Epic experience required. • Must be available for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. • Residents and Fellows are not accepted. • Current and complete work history required, with no employment gaps of 30+ days. • Agency-branded CV required at submission. • Candidate email address and phone number must be included with submission.

Working Hours: • Monday–Friday. • 8-hour shifts. • 7:30 AM–3:30 PM. • First patient: 8:00 AM. • Last patient: 3:00 PM. • No call. • No weekends. • Approximately 8–9 patients per day.
