About the facility This position is based within an acute care hospital that is part of a large, established regional healthcare system in upstate New York. The dermatology department is supported by a collaborative clinical team and utilizes Epic as its electronic medical record system.

Travel expenses reimbursed, including: Mileage Rental car Hotel Flight Malpractice Covered Job Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive outpatient dermatology care Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of skin conditions Perform dermatologic procedures within scope of practice Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 25–35 patients Accurately document patient encounters using Epic EMR Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care Provide coverage at a secondary dermatology location as needed Qualifications Board Certified Physician Assistant Active New York license (required at time of submission) Minimum of 3 years of recent dermatology experience Recent Epic EMR experience required Current BLS certification Consistent work history with no gaps exceeding 30 days Working Hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No call requirements Full-time locum assignment (approximately 26 weeks, July through January) Skills Strong dermatology clinical expertise Ability to manage a high-volume patient load efficiently Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems Excellent communication and patient care skills Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities Detail-oriented with accurate documentation practices
