Quick Facts Location: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI Start Date: 01/01/2027 End Date/Duration: Approximately 01/24/2027 Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with Nightly and Weekend Call Hours/Week: 50 hours/week (including call) Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Active Michigan medical license required Experience: Prior Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred Certifications: BLS required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: Negotiable (discuss upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program Dedicated support team for your success What You’ll Do Review and round on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients alongside residents and OB staff Provide inpatient consults and participate in phone consultations Supervise residents in high-risk OB clinic at Warren as needed Interpret ultrasounds, including amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage high- and low-risk obstetric cases Support ultrasound services, interpret diagnostic results, and assist with complex procedures Participate in high-risk clinic sessions and outpatient assessments What You Need Required: Active Michigan medical license Board-certified or eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine BLS certification Experience providing high-acuity obstetric care Proficiency in ultrasound interpretation and procedures like amniocentesis and cerclage Preferred: Experience with outpatient high-risk obstetric management Ability to supervise residents and support clinical education Familiarity with high-volume OB units About the Assignment Join a prominent hospital in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, dedicated to maternal and fetal health excellence.
