Quick Facts Location: Atlantic City, NJ (1925 Pacific Avenue, 08401) Start Date: 08/27/2026 Duration: Ongoing until a permanent neurologist is hired Shift: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Hours/Week: Full-time, 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license; DEA and NJ CDS registration; BLS certification Experience: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology; outpatient experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric patients with a broad spectrum of neurological conditions Manage common neurological disorders such as headaches, seizures, movement disorders, MS, and post-stroke follow-up Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and medical records Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams Complete timely documentation and follow-up on test results and patient messages Provide consistent outpatient coverage across multiple locations in Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township, and Hammonton Work independently within a collaborative, patient-centered environment What You Need Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license DEA and NJ CDS registration before start date BLS certification Board certification or eligibility in Neurology Willingness to rotate among Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township, and Hammonton Ability to provide outpatient neurology care for a diverse adult and geriatric population About the Assignment This position is based in outpatient neurology clinics operated by AtlantiCare in Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township, and Hammonton.

The role involves providing consistent weekday outpatient coverage, managing a typical volume of approximately 14–18 patients daily, including complex cases and neurological disorders. You will collaborate with a well-established interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care while supporting patient access as recruitment for a permanent neurologist is underway.
