Quick Facts Location: 1215 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912 Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date/Duration: [Duration to be specified upon application] Shift: Day shift, Q3 call coverage Hours/Week: [To be specified upon application] Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) Experience: Prior IR experience required Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) available Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) Support Orthopedic, Gynecologic, and Urological procedures as needed Collaborate with IR support staff, including managers and APPs, to ensure optimal patient care Manage a typical caseload of approximately 8 cases daily in a Level I trauma center Provide coverage during assigned shifts and participate in Q3 call rotations Document procedures efficiently using the hospital’s EMR system What You Need Valid medical license in Michigan or ability to obtain one quickly Board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology with subspecialty training or experience in Interventional Radiology Proven experience in performing complex IR procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to commit to a flexible schedule for coverage needs About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a prominent hospital in Lansing, MI, providing essential IR services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
