🩺 Locum Rheumatologist – Cambridge, Massachusetts

We are seeking a Locum Rheumatology Physician for an outpatient clinic opportunity in Cambridge, Massachusetts . This assignment offers a collaborative clinical environment and the chance to work alongside experienced specialists while providing high-quality patient care. 📍 Location Cambridge 🏥 Position Overview Specialty: Rheumatology Position Type: Locum Tenens Schedule: Monday – Friday Clinic Hours: Between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP (Target start March 2026) Assignment Length: Approximately 24 weeks with potential extension Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic 👩‍⚕️ Practice Environment Work alongside two rheumatologists and 10+ orthopedic providers Approximately 18 patients per day Annual clinic volume: ~2,000 visits No APP coverage in the department EMR: Epic 📋 Call Schedule 1 in 3 weekend coverage Rotating evening call ✅ Requirements Board Certified / Board Eligible in Rheumatology Active Massachusetts medical license required Flu vaccination required (no waivers accepted) Must provide a current or most recent direct supervisor reference ✨ Highlights Structured weekday schedule Established specialty team and support Opportunity for assignment extension Well-organized outpatient setting
