Locums – NP/PA – Cardiology – Asheville, North Carolina Work in one of the most scenic cities in the country while delivering advanced cardiology care in a collaborative hospital environment. This 6-month locums opportunity offers daytime shifts, strong specialty support, and hands-on procedures. Assignment Details: Start: July 1, 2026 Duration: 6 months 12-hour day shifts, 7 days/week (primarily days) 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, - Non ICU, just floor coverage EMR: Cerner Support from hospitalist medicine, cardiology, pulmonary critical care, and cardiothoracic surgery teams Role Responsibilities: Round daily on cardiology service patients across all levels of care Write progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, consult notes, and discharge summaries Order medications, diagnostic testing, and procedures as indicated Perform ICU procedures as needed: arterial line placement, central line placement, cardioversion Conduct new consults in collaboration with attending cardiologists Requirements: Experienced cardiology PA or NP Active North Carolina license and DEA Proficient in cardiology patient management and ICU procedures Why This Role: Work in a top-rated cardiology service line with strong specialty backup Scenic location in Asheville – a hub for outdoor recreation and cultural experiences Opportunity to perform advanced cardiac procedures in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
