Locums - Dothan, Alabama, General Surgery Opening (IMLC Accepted) Coverage Dates: October 9 at 7:00 a.m. CST–October 11 at 7:00 a.m. CST Coverage & Setting: General Surgery inpatient and Emergency Department coverage No clinic coverage 200-bed hospital Level III Trauma setting Stroke-certified hospital Assigned and unassigned patients Approximately 20 patients per shift Call & Clinical Responsibilities: Inpatient consults and Emergency Department coverage Rounding on inpatient consults Approximately 10 phone consults 30-minute call response time required Support & Systems: EMR: Cerner Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible Active Alabama license or IMLC accepted ACLS and BLS – Required What is great about Dothan, Alabama: Dothan offers a welcoming community, affordable cost of living, and a relaxed Southern lifestyle.
