Locums – Hancock, Michigan | Urology Opportunity (IMLC Accepted) Clinical Role Join an established Urology practice in Michigan's Upper Peninsula providing outpatient clinic and surgical coverage in a collaborative hospital setting. This long-term locums opportunity offers a predictable schedule, no call responsibilities, access to robotic surgery, and a highly desirable two weeks on/two weeks off rotation.

Assignment Details Preferred Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: One-year commitment or longer preferred Schedule Rotation: Two weeks on / two weeks off Flexible scheduling available Required Onsite Orientation Dates: 8/4/26 – 8/7/26 8/11/26 – 8/14/26 9/14/26 – 9/18/26 9/21/26 – 9/25/26 10/19/26 – 10/23/26 10/26/26 – 10/30/26 11/9/26 – 11/13/26 11/16/26 – 11/20/26 12/7/26 – 12/11/26 12/14/26 – 12/18/26 Position Highlights Long-term locums opportunity Two weeks on/two weeks off schedule No call responsibilities Da Vinci Xi robotic platform onsite Dedicated Urology clinic space Facility lodging available during scheduled shifts (based on availability) Level III Trauma Center IMLC accepted Schedule & Coverage Monday – Friday Typical Weekly Schedule: Four clinic days One operating room day Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Last scheduled appointment typically at 4:30 PM Operating Room Schedule: OR days may begin as early as 7:00 AM depending on block time Call: No call required Clinical Details & Responsibilities Practice Setting: Clinic and Hospital Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day Hospital Information: 25-bed facility Level III Trauma Center Responsibilities Include: Outpatient Urology consultations and management Surgical procedures Hospital rounding during scheduled workdays Minimal inpatient admissions Collaborative patient care with hospital staff Technology and Equipment: Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system Dedicated Urology clinic space Support & Technology EMR Systems: Athena Meditech Additional Support: Facility-provided lodging available during scheduled assignments when available Hospital and clinic support staff Established surgical and clinical infrastructure Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology – Required Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Urology residency/fellowship (or equivalent foreign training) – Required Active Michigan Medical License – Required IMLC Accepted Michigan Controlled Substance License (MI CDS) – Required Michigan DEA Registration – Required ACLS Certification – Required Certification accepted through: American Board of Urology American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery Organization & Team Established Urology service line Dedicated outpatient clinic space Robotic surgery capabilities Collaborative hospital environment Long-term ongoing coverage opportunity About Hancock, Michigan Location & Access: Located in Michigan's scenic Upper Peninsula, Hancock offers breathtaking natural beauty and serves as a gateway to Lake Superior and the Keweenaw Peninsula.
