Inverness, FL | Emergency Medicine Locums Availability Projected Start Date: November 4, 2026 Assignment Duration: Ongoing Facility Type: Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) Employment Type: Independent Contractor License & Certification Requirements Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine State License: Active Florida license required DEA: Required Schedule Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Coverage Model: Two 12-hour shifts Practice Details Emergency Medicine coverage at a recently renovated Emergency Department Approximately 45,000 annual patient visits 28-bed Emergency Department , including bariatric and private rooms EMR: Cerner Physician Coverage: 36 hours daily APP Coverage: 40 hours daily Collaborative, supportive nursing staff Stroke Center with tele-neurology implementation underway Patient Population Large adult and geriatric patient population Low pediatric volume (approximately 6%) No trauma cases No OB/GYN coverage High-acuity adult patients supported by the hospitalist team Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
