Locums – La Porte, Indiana, OB/GYN Hospitalist POSITION OVERVIEW Seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist for call-only locum coverage in La Porte, Indiana. AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING Call-only coverage Beeper call Call Ratio: 1:1 Call Response Time: 30 minutes Average Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per shift Current Available Dates: November 02, 2026 at 7:00 AM – December 30, 2026 at 7:00 AM Additional shift availability expected in 2027 REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Active Indiana Medical License — Required Indiana CSR — Required Indiana DEA — Required Board Certified in OB/GYN — Required BLS — Required ACLS — Required PALS — Required Clean NPDB / Data Bank — Required REQUIRED EXPERIENCE OB/GYN Hospitalist experience Experience with admissions Comfortable managing assigned and unassigned patients Experience providing call-only coverage PRACTICE DETAILS Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospitalist Department Size: 85 beds EMR: Cerner CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS To qualify for temporary privileges, providers must have: Active Indiana medical license Indiana CSR Indiana DEA Adequate case logs for review KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Must have: Board certification in OB/GYN Active IN license, CSR, and DEA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Adequate case logs OB/GYN Hospitalist experience Ability to respond within 30 minutes Availability for call-only coverage Referral Bonus Available Know someone who might be a fit?
