Lafayette, Louisiana – Locums Breast Imaging Radiologist Quick Highlights Location: Lafayette, Louisiana Facility: Outpatient Breast Imaging Centers (Trauma Level II) Start Date: August 3, 2026 End Date: Ongoing Commitment: Full-time, several months minimum OR 2 providers rotating to create 1 FTE Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Setting: 100% onsite Call / Weekends: None EMR: Epic Required Licenses & Certifications REQUIRED Board Certified Radiologist Active Louisiana License OR IMLC accepted Breast Imaging Fellowship ACLS Certification BLS Certification Credentialing Must obtain full COI and Louisiana PCF coverage Clinical Scope Screening and diagnostic mammography Breast ultrasound Stereotactic biopsies Ultrasound-guided biopsies Breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsies Volume & Workflow Patients per shift: ~40 Diagnostics: ~18 per day (mix of screening and diagnostic cases) Procedures: Few biopsies per day Admissions: Required Practice Setting Outpatient-focused breast imaging practice Predictable weekday schedule No call or weekend responsibilities Ideal Candidate Fellowship-trained breast imager Seeking consistent volume and predictable schedule Flexible candidates available for full-time or shared FTE rotation encouraged to apply Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
