(Locums) Nurse Practitioner – Hospitalist - Potsdam, NY, 13676

• We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a locums Hospitalist role at an acute care hospital in Potsdam, NY. • This position focuses on providing comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions. • The role involves night shift coverage with no call requirements, making it ideal for providers seeking flexible locums scheduling.

Job Responsibilities: • Provide general medical care to hospitalized patients. • Perform patient evaluations, admissions, and ongoing management. • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies. • Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Communicate with primary care providers regarding patient status and discharge plans. • Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care. • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system. Qualifications: • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. • Active New York State License (in hand). • Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient/hospitalist experience required. • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Strong clinical and acute care skills. • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
