Assignment: September–December 2026 EMR: Epic Positions: 3 Job Details We are seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN Physician for an inpatient Laborist opportunity providing 24-hour in-house coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking flexible locum coverage with a minimum commitment of just 2 shifts per month . Schedule & Coverage 24-hour in-house shifts: 6:00 AM–6:00 AM One 24-hour shift per week One 48-hour weekend per month 4–5 shift blocks may be considered Back-to-back shifts are not permitted Minimum commitment: 2 shifts/month Physician must be available for the specific dates required Dates Needed September: 21, 22, 26 October: 16–18 November: 10, 11, 13–15 December: 8, 9, 11–13 Clinical Responsibilities In-house Laborist coverage Management of normal labor and deliveries Routine Labor & Delivery responsibilities Minor GYN procedures/surgeries Supervision and teaching of residents and APPs Collaboration with OB/GYN and MFM teams No C-sections required.

Facility & Patient Volume Approximately 45–55 deliveries per month 317-bed hospital Level III NICU Burn and Trauma Center In-house MFM and GYN Oncology services APP support available for triage and deliveries OB group onsite 24/7 Onsite physician call room available Requirements MD/DO Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology BLS & ACLS required Pennsylvania medical license strongly preferred PA DEA required IMLC/standard licensure candidates may be considered Must meet hospital privileging requirements Act 33, Act 34 & Act 73 background checks required Credentialing Typical credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days Clean and complete documentation is strongly preferred Application and required documents must be completed within 10 days of receipt Why Consider This Opportunity?
