Job Description Position: HGV Class 1 Driver Location: Tamworth Job Type: Temporary Industry: Driving Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour Workchain is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This will be a mix of general haulage work on a curtain sider/trunking.
Starts range from 0630 - 0730 on average 12-13 hour days. 2 - 3 drops a day! They also run on Saturdays if you want them. This is block bookings with immediate starts runs are given the night before via text. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations Conduct vehicle checks before and after each shift Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance Qualifications: Valid HGV Class 1 license CPC qualification Minimum of 1 year of experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver Good communication and customer service skills If you are a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver looking for temporary work in Tamworth, then we want to hear from you.
