Facilities, Logistics & Site Operations Manager About the Role We’re looking for an experienced, practical Facilities, Logistics & Site Operations Manager to own the facilities and technical logistics function across our Bristol operations. This is a broad, hands-on ownership role in a fast-moving technical organisation. You will be accountable for the systems, suppliers, budgets, services, logistics and day-to-day operational control that keep our office, laboratory and pilot-scale processing environment running effectively.
Because this is currently a single-person function, the role combines managerial responsibility with hands-on execution. You will own budgets, supplier performance, facilities planning, contractor coordination and technical logistics, but you will also need to handle the practical administration, tracking, purchasing, scheduling and problem-solving yourself. It will suit someone experienced who is comfortable switching between budget control, supplier discussions, operational planning and the detail of making sure equipment, materials, documentation and services are where they need to be.
You will play a central role in the upcoming facility relocation, owning the facilities and logistics workstream for the move and helping establish scalable operating systems for the new site. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be confident working around process equipment, laboratory or pilot plant operations, specialist contractors and regulated materials, and able to ask the right technical questions to keep work moving.
