12 hours - 2/2/3, $20/hour 7am-7pm A Production Operator works in advanced defense manufacturing, specifically supporting the fabrication, assembly, coating, and quality control of tactical equipment, body armor, and ammunition/armament components. Setup, load, operate, and monitor automated and semi-automated production machinery. Assemble defense components, tactical gear, or metal products following engineering blueprints, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
Operate surface preparation equipment, spray booths, cure ovens, or powder coating lines to apply protective finishes according to strict specifications. Responsibilities: Troubleshooting, loading and running automated Production Machine to complete ammunition manufacturing Bend, Stooping and Standing to load machine equipment Loading and Unloading Machine with Raw Materials Ability to lift up to 50 pounds May be asked to go on a 2 step, step stool Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Skills: Positive attitude Willing to learn Knowledge of manufacturing equipment Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: Mechanical Aptitude Attention to detail Able to be on feet for 12 hours a day Call Spherion at 301-739-6900 for immediate interview.
