Salary: £35k to £40k Work Pattern – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday – some occasional call out duty at weekend – paid at premium rate. Key Responsibilities Preventative maintenance, servicing and repair of any machinery that breakdown.
Organise maintenance schedules. Carry out administrative tasks such as developing instruction manuals, providing reports on work carried out. Ensure equipment records are kept up to date. Stock check and ordering of consumables required within the maintenance team. Liaise with production and manufacturing teams to effective manage maintenance schedules causing as little disruption to production as possible.
Qualifications & Skills Maintenance experience with light manufacturing machinery – ideally food or pharmaceutical equipment. Mechanical and Electrical experience. PLC fault finding experience. Computer literate (Microsoft Office). Troubleshooting experience in resolve pressing in process issues with equipment. Ability to follow instructions and a high attention to detail. Able to work on an occasional on call rota at weekends (paid a premium rate).
