About the Role We are looking for an experienced and passionate School Head Chef to join our team in the Birmingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven culinary professional to lead kitchen operations across a roaming role covering the B61 postcode area, delivering high-quality, nutritious meals in a school catering environment. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay rate: £16-£20 Ongoing shifts with long-term stability Monday to Friday working pattern - no evenings, weekends, or bank holidays Daytime hours only, supporting excellent work-life balance The chance to make a real difference in a school community setting Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals Plan menus in line with school food standards and nutritional guidelines Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety Manage stock control, ordering, and budgeting Travel between sites as required across the B61 area What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef, ideally within school or contract catering A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential, due to travel between sites) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards A genuine passion for food and providing great meals for young people #J-18808-Ljbffr
