Onsite Service Representative (Mt. Vernon, Indiana) 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment preferred, Contract to Hire, First shift onsite role, hours, 7:30 – 3:00  PM Monday through Friday.  Operating as a Field Service Representative (this role is onsite), you will serve as a frontline technical expert, delivering essential operations and maintenance support for industrial water treatment systems.

This mission-critical position entails managing a diverse portfolio of advanced technologies, encompassing media filtration, ultrafiltration (UF), and reverse osmosis (RO) platforms, to ensure optimal performance for our strategic partners. Role is contract to hire, in house at client’s site in Mt. Vernon.  Key Characteristics: Operate, monitor, maintain, repair and optimize industrial equipment performance. Troubleshoot (as-needed) and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of systems and equipment. Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.

Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts. Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed. Assist as-needed, or evaluate and refer out jobs for mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as motors, PLC’s, VFD’s, valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.

Partner with customer management and operation teams to help advise on system performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Conduct maintenance and calibration activities. Consult with management and operation teams. Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications. Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance. Create and maintain site paperwork and detailed technical summaries of work performed.

Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems e Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, SDI, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent mechanical skills, problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.

Skilled in use of computers for reports, emails, service manuals, etc. Qualifications Education & Experience Required: High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent. 2+ years experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment preferred. Valid Driver’s License Desirable. Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in maintenance preferred.
