MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist I - Market A

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist. Position type: Full Time - Contract role Duration: 6 Months Location: Wayne, PA As a MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist, you will: Review, analyze, and remediate fallout records generated through Master Data Management (MDM) match-merge processes. Investigate data exceptions and perform accurate remediation in accordance with established business rules, data governance standards, and operational procedures.

Validate match-merge survivorship outcomes and ensure entity resolution results align with data stewardship expectations. Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring data quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Execute data cleansing activities including data standardization, deduplication, formatting corrections, and attribute validation. Verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency using approved data quality tools, reports, and validation processes.

Perform authorized bulk updates and data corrections while adhering to change management and compliance requirements. Monitor data quality dashboards, exception queues, and quality reports to identify and resolve data issues proactively. Collaborate with Data Governance teams, Data Stewards, business stakeholders, and MDM Operations teams to resolve complex data issues. Document remediation decisions, maintain audit trails, and support compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.

Escalate complex or policy-related data issues to appropriate teams and support ongoing data stewardship initiatives. Handle sensitive and confidential data responsibly while ensuring adherence to organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or a related data operations role. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., look-up functions, pivot tables, filtering, data cleaning techniques).

Experience working with one or more MDM applications (e.g., Informatica or similar). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with match merge or entity resolution workflows. Basic proficiency in SQL or other data manipulation/query tools. Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality rules, and metadata management principles. Prior experience working with party (customer, partner) master data.
