Operating from new purpose-built premises, Ripon Paint and Body holds several insurance and manufacturing approvals, including Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan, together with the Stellantis and VW Group approvals.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Bodyshop within the Automotive Industry. The successful applicant will have previous working experience as a Mechanic, ideally with MOT certification. You will be required to complete mechanical repairs for manufacturers, insurance companies, and the public. Day-to-day duties will vary but include repairing a variety of vehicles from the company fleet, to carrying out mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs to accident-damaged vehicles.
Training will be provided to ensure compliance with repair approvals, with support given throughout. Candidate Requirements Ability to carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards. Inspecting a vehicle's engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment. Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details, and complete all documentation to the required standard.
IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification. Experience working in a manufacturer repair centre.
