Medical Sales Specialist (Pharmaceuticals) Job Title: Medical Sales Specialist Location: REMOTE Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + Uncapped Bonus + Benefits The Opportunity We are seeking an ambitious, professional, and commercially driven Medical Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role focuses on promoting and selling a highly specialised, premium-priced pharmaceutical product to healthcare professionals and key decision-makers across the healthcare sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clinicians, consultants, pharmacists, and healthcare providers while demonstrating the clinical and commercial value of a bespoke treatment solution. Key Responsibilities Drive sales growth and market penetration for a specialist pharmaceutical product. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, consultants, prescribing clinicians, and key stakeholders.
Deliver engaging product presentations and educational meetings to healthcare professionals. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic territory plans. Effectively communicate clinical data, product benefits, and treatment outcomes. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to implementation and ongoing account management. Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the product.
Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence. Accurately maintain CRM records and sales activity reports. Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Candidate Requirements Essential experience within pharmaceutical or medical sales. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical environment. Strong understanding of consultative sales and relationship management.
Experience selling high-value, specialist, or complex healthcare products. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to confidently engage with senior healthcare professionals and decision-makers. Highly professional, credible, and commercially astute. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
