Experience: 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience. Experience with Epic is required. Requirements: Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - 24 months of current Med Surg/Medical Surgical/Med Surg Tele experience required. Special Requests: - Past UnityPoint Health employees who worked as FTE or PRN in the UPH float pool within the last 12 months cannot work travel in another market; this does not apply to prior UnityPoint Health travel assignments.
Unit Details: - Patient population includes all types of med surg care, including overflow of post-op surgical hips/knees. - Heparin drips. - Remote telemetry technician monitoring. Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Every third weekend. - Holiday rotation as scheduled. - No call. Floating Requirements: - Required to float across all campuses: Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist.
