Medical University of South Carolina Occupational Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP - NP/PA)- Horry County, SC

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Primary Care/Occupational Health team based at the Horry County Wellness Center in Conway, South Carolina. This health center provides primary care, occupational medicine to employees, retirees and dependents with 3600 members. The APP will primarily provide on-site primary and occupational healthcare services to the employees and their dependents.

The role is office-based, offering a consistent outpatient schedule within an employer-supported clinic environment with access to specialty and sub-specialty care. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and contribution to the development of health partnerships within the industry setting. Required Qualifications : Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.

AGPNP/ANP (Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP or Adult NP): Adult pts (13 years to death), stable chronic disease state management or primary care setting. FNP (Family NP): (birth to death) Stable chronic disease state management, primary care across the lifespan. Currently licensed (or eligible) in the state of South Carolina as a Physician Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with the SC Board of Nursing.

APRN or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law.
