Our IT team is located in Serbia , mostly in Belgrade , but also in Novi Sad, Niš and Čačak . Managing deployments across test, stage, and production environments, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimal downtime; Resolving critical production issues quickly, including unplanned hotfixes, to keep the system available; Implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability practices to maintain system health and reliability; Working with tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Sentry to build dashboards and improve incident visibility; Managing Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, rate limiting, caching, Zero Trust) to protect and speed up our public services; Collaborating with the Development team to design scalable infrastructure solutions and streamline CI/CD pipelines; Maintaining Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and ensuring consistency across environments; Supporting Kubernetes clusters, Postgres databases, and other critical services in production; Contributing to the automation of workflows and environment provisioning; Using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code in daily work to speed up automation, troubleshooting, and documentation; Sharing knowledge with colleagues and continuously learning to stay on top of industry trends.
What will the successful candidate have? Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployments in Kubernetes-based environments) and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code); Understanding of PostgreSQL administration, performance basics, and experience with relational databases in general; Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines; Exposure to monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Sentry, Grafana, etc.); Experience with Cloudflare or similar edge/CDN and WAF services; Experience with Linux system administration and containerization (Docker); Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools (e.g.
Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and an understanding of how to use them safely in an infrastructure context; Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and collaborate effectively with developers; Good verbal & written communication skills in English; Motivation to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and modern Fintech environment; Previous experience outside freelancing/outsourcing is preferred, with Fintech experience considered a plus; Considered a plus:
