3 MEP Tech I and 3 MEP Tech II Job openings. Year long contract. Pay ranges from $22-$33/Hour MEP Technician I and II The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Technician is responsible for supporting the installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment associated with a new facility expansion. This position will play a critical role in bringing new systems online, validating equipment performance, resolving startup issues, and ensuring reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and automation systems.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong multi-craft background with experience in industrial facilities, equipment commissioning, controls, automation, robotics, and facility support systems. Key Responsibilities: Support installation, startup, commissioning, and validation of new facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, controls, automation, and plumbing issues encountered during equipment startup and commissioning.

Assist with equipment acceptance testing, system verification, and performance validation. Diagnose and repair industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, VFDs, servos, and automation equipment. Troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCB), control panels, electrical systems, and electronic components. Support setup, programming verification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of robotic and automated manufacturing systems.

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, piping systems, compressors, and utility equipment. Assist in the startup and maintenance of facility support systems including compressed air, cooling water, process water, and plumbing systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. Perform equipment modifications, adjustments, and corrective actions to optimize performance and reliability.

Coordinate with contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and system integration. Document commissioning activities, troubleshooting efforts, equipment deficiencies, and corrective actions. Support preventative maintenance initiatives and ongoing facility reliability improvements following startup. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable safety standards, codes, and company procedures.

Tools must be provided by employee. Requirements NCCER certification License or 2 year vocational training (Staffing agency to verify) OSHA 10 Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work at heights, on ladders/lifts, in confined spaces if applicable Ability to stand/kneel/crawl for extended periods Ability to work in heat Ability to pass background check and drug screen MEP Tech I (2-4 years experience) MEP Tech II (4+ years experience)
