Job Summary Operations Research Activities Plans, conducts, and directs operations research activities to support development of Air Force, joint, and multinational doctrine. Using proven, as well new and innovative approaches, studies complex data and data sources using appropriate and varied analytical techniques to develop military doctrine. Reviews, edits, and writes doctrine based upon knowledge and clear understanding of current USAF and joint military policy, operational practices, and study results, requiring a thorough understanding of the functioning of the Joint Force, NATO and multinational partners, and the Air Force.
To support the development of relevant and current doctrine, independently seeks out and analyzes a complex variety of data sources and reference material on actual, simulated, and theoretical military operations and concepts.
