Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts / 7 days on - 21 Days off (Part Time) What you will do: Safely and consistently provide prompt, high-quality ALS (Advanced Life Support) Emergency care to surface personnel at AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) Mine sites.

These include surface response and rescue, ambulance or company vehicle transport to the most appropriate medical facilities, or treatment and release back to work. Provide information about work-related injuries to AGA Safety Officers, including database tracking and notifying them via email/phone/text for ALL hours. Maintains HIPAA compliance for all personal medical calls, providing only the need-to-know information for AGA.

Safety and responsibly administer, log, and maintain controlled substances/narcotics per protocol, policy, and practice. Assist in EMS education such as EMR, EMT and CPR and provide training during OSHA and MSHA trainings Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $36.98/hour 401k plan, with employee contribution after 90 days of employment, and company match after 1 year of service and have worked at least 1000 hours.

Requirements Required Qualifications: 3+ years of verifiable paramedic experience Valid Nevada paramedic license National Registry (NREMT-P) AHA BLS & ACLS Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of verifiable paramedic experience Current 32-hour Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) or refresher Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) certification National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Spirometry certification Department of Transportation (DOT) specimen collection certification Physical Requirements: Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 75 pounds Must be able to speak clearly in small group settings This position will require sitting for long periods of time, standing, bending, and walking, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing This position could be exposed to loud noises, inclement weather, frequent phone conversations, and requires average to above average visual acuity and hearing Work Environment: The majority of this job will be spent in an austere environment Must be available to travel to other locations as needed Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
