Ability to safely operate mobile cranes in construction and other demanding work environments. Good understanding of lifting plans, load charts, crane capacities, and safe operating procedures. Ability to accurately follow instructions and communicate effectively with riggers, signalers, and site personnel. Strong concentration, coordination, judgment, and attention to detail. Physically and mentally capable of working safely in a demanding construction environment.
Reliable, responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Must have strong English communication skills. Willing to take IELTS or PTE as required for employment or migration purposes. Responsibilities: Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently at construction sites and other work locations. Perform pre-operation inspections of the crane, controls, safety devices, and lifting equipment.
Lift, move, position, and lower materials, machinery, structural components, and other heavy loads. Follow approved lifting plans, load charts, operating procedures, and supervisor instructions. Assess load weight, lifting capacity, boom configuration, working radius, and site conditions before lifting. Properly position and stabilize the mobile crane before commencing lifting operations. Coordinate with riggers, signalers, crane crew, supervisors, and other site personnel during lifting activities.
Follow standard hand signals and radio communication procedures during crane operations. Ensure loads are properly secured, balanced, and within the crane's safe working capacity. Maintain safe clearance from buildings, structures, power lines, personnel, vehicles, and other site hazards. Operate the crane smoothly and accurately to prevent damage to materials, equipment, and surrounding structures.
Monitor ground conditions, weather, visibility, and other factors that may affect safe crane operation. Conduct routine equipment checks and immediately report mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or operational problems. Assist with daily inspection records, maintenance checks, and required crane documentation. Stop lifting operations when unsafe conditions or equipment defects are identified. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, site rules, and environmental requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work area around the crane and equipment. Perform other mobile crane operating duties as assigned by the supervisor or project management.
