JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Multi Welder – 3G / 4G / 6G Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Experience: 7–8 Years Material: Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Multi Welder with 7–8 years of hands-on experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, EPC, and Industrial projects . The candidate must be proficient in 3G, 4G, and 6G welding positions and capable of performing high-quality welding works on Carbon Steel (CS) and Stainless Steel (SS) piping, structures, and related components.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of welding procedures, WPS requirements, welding consumables, joint preparation, inspection requirements, and safe working practices. Strong practical experience in 3G, 4G, and 6G welding . Excellent welding skills in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel . Experience in pipe welding and fabrication within Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects. Knowledge of SMAW, GTAW/TIG, and multi-process welding techniques .
Ability to work with different pipe sizes, wall thicknesses, fittings, flanges, and materials. Good understanding of WPS, PQR, welding symbols, joint preparation, and welding parameters . Ability to achieve quality welds suitable for RT, UT, PT, and other NDT requirements . Familiarity with applicable welding codes and project specifications such as ASME Section IX, ASME , API, and relevant project standards .
Experience Requirements 7–8 years of proven experience as a Welder/Multi Welder. Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Industrial projects preferred. Hands-on experience in Carbon Steel and Stainless-Steel piping fabrication and installation . Experience working on shutdown, maintenance, construction, fabrication, or pre-commissioning projects is an advantage.
