Permanent Opportunity – Non-Invasive Cardiology Location: Muskegon and Ludington, Michigan Position Overview A full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) is needed to join a growing cardiovascular team serving communities along the West Michigan lakeshore. The physician will work within a collaborative regional cardiovascular network delivering comprehensive cardiac care across outpatient clinics and hospital settings.
Employment Type: Permanent Practice Model: Multidisciplinary cardiovascular team Locums Candidates: Not accepted Schedule Full-time cardiology schedule Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults Specific hours not listed Clinical Responsibilities Provide non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations Diagnose and manage: Cardiomyopathy Coronary artery disease (CAD) Arrhythmias Valvular heart disease Congestive heart failure Develop individualized treatment plans Participate in Congestive Heart Failure Clinic Manage patients with lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors Perform pre-surgical cardiac evaluations Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including: Echocardiography Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) Provide inpatient cardiology consultations Collaborate with APPs, nurses, and clinical staff Assist with management and remote monitoring of: Pacemakers Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) Cardiovascular Network Collaboration The role participates in the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan , a partnership.
