We are looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated Night Practitioners to join our team at Apple Tree. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people with severe learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to achieve positive outcomes and live meaningful, fulfilling lives. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are passionate about making a difference and who have experience working in complex care, children's residential care, SEND, learning disability or autism services.

In return, you'll be supported to develop specialist skills, progress your career and be recognised for the vital contribution you make every day., Previous experience working within a complex care environment, such as children's residential care, SEND, learning disability, autism, mental health or challenging behaviour services. Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours, communication needs and emotional regulation difficulties.

A resilient and proactive approach, with the ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations. An understanding of trauma-informed practice and the importance of consistent, relationship-based support. Confidence in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and following agreed care, behaviour support and therapeutic plans. Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.

A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their potential. The ability to build positive, trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries. Confidence to seek support, reflect on practice and continuously develop professionally. A Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or willingness to work towards this qualification). Starting rates are £14.47 and for those with experience it's £14.98 Working at Apple Tree and our bespoke services within 6 months we expect you to be earning: Level 2 - £14.47 per hour and once you have progressed through your competencies within 12-18 months Level 3 - £14.98 per hour.
