This is a dynamic role in a busy academic surgical department , offering exposure to a variety of surgical subspecialties including general, bariatric, vascular, and some GYN surgery . 🔍 Assignment Overview: Setting: Hospital-based, inpatient Schedule: Full-time nights only , no call Coverage Need: One provider needed ASAP Volume: ~90,000 ER visits annually Credentialing Timeline: 30–40 days EMR: Epic OR Team: 8 PAs, 10 Physicians, full OR support staff Patient Demographic: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric Case Mix: General surgery, bariatric, some vascular, some GYN Perm Conversion Cap: $10,000 (must be noted at submission) Travel: Full travel reimbursement offered (local candidates preferred) ✅ Submission Requirements: NCCPA Certified – REQUIRED Active MA license at time of submission – REQUIRED, no exceptions Minimum 1–2 years of relevant surgical PA experience – REQUIRED (no new grads) Clean background – PREFERRED 💡 This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident PA with inpatient surgical experience to join a robust, high-acuity surgical team in one of Massachusetts’ busiest hospitals.
