NP/PA - Hospitalist - Merrill, Wisconsin

Aspirus Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospitalist team in Merrill, Wisconsin Practice broad-spectrum Hospital Medicine in a supportive, community-focused environment with meaningful clinical autonomy and strong collegial support. OPPORTUNITY: 7 days on/7 days off 12-hour shifts, mix of days and nights Average daily census Days: 10-12 patients Nights: 15-20 with cross coverage Typically 2-5 admissions per shift Overnight tele-hospitalist support 24/7 support telemedicine support including IM, ID, Neuro, Cardio, and Tele-Stroke Will provide coverage for open ICUs and for ICU level patients, and are members of the code team ED physician on site 24/7 and is available to respond and assist for codes and rapid response Expanding daytime physician team with the growth of our Aspirus Merrill Hospital Hospital Medicine program Epic EMR or documentation support BENEFITS: Competitive benefits and generous compensation package including relocation assistance, student loan repayment program, annual CME allowance, and a sign-on bonus.
