NQ Solicitor, Travlaw Hybrid - 2 days remote / 3 days in Leeds office The role: This is an opportunity to work in a niche, top travel law firm in the UK working for household name companies, with a dynamic team. We are looking for a newly qualified solicitor to join our litigation team that can demonstrate an ability to handle litigated claims all the way to trial. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on a range of matters including: Injury claims arising from accidents overseas (predominantly Fast Track and Intermediate Track) Commercial (B2B) disputes, typically between travel companies and their suppliers and other third parties Consumer refund claims arising under the Package Travel Regulations, Regulation 261, Montreal & Athens Conventions Regulatory advice (Package Travel Regulations, GDPR) Coroner Inquests Providing Training Sessions to clients Speaking at Industry Events Experience acting for Defendants and/or working within the travel industry is helpful but not essential.
You will receive all the support and training you need to adapt your current knowledge and skills to the demands of the travel industry.
